Legal Associate (Corporate & Commercial)
Alicia Lian is a corporate and commercial lawyer and a Legal Associate at KGP Legal LLC. She graduated from the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law in 2019 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2021.
She began her career in private practice, working on corporate, banking and commercial matters, including acquisitions, financing transactions and regulatory compliance. She subsequently held in-house legal roles where she advised on commercial contracts, data protection, regulatory matters and contractual disputes. This combination of private practice and in-house experience informs her practical approach to legal and commercial issues.
Her work at the firm covers the full spectrum of general corporate and commercial law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions for international and multi-national companies, securities regulation, regulatory compliance and employment law. She drafts and negotiates various commercial contracts, including licensing and distribution agreements, conducts legal due diligence and provides regulatory advice. She also handles the portfolio of high-net worth Chinese national clients.
